Your Tasks
- Contract management such as review and draft of commercial contracts, legal documents, developing standard contract templates etc.;
- Provide legal and compliance advice to business units during daily operation to ensure compliance, avoid potential disputes and protect company interests;
- Establish an effective interface with business and governance functions, and within Legal, Risk Management and Compliance, to assess and manage legal and compliance risks and issues.
- Handle litigation/arbitration cases with support of external lawyers;

- Conduct legal trainings to internal staff from time to time when required;
- Ensure proper filing and records-retention of legal documents of the company.
- Actively pursue ongoing, effective communications and provision of training on legal and compliance requirements to internal staff from time to time when required;

- Support our regional organizations (Senior Management Team and other levels of the organization) with compliance advice and solutions with an initial strong focus on anti-corruption and trade sanctions;
- Actively engage with and assist the management regarding the implementation of the relevant compliance program;
- Provide consultation & maintain oversight of government arrangements;
- Develop solutions to match business and compliance needs;
- Lead compliance projects to achieve compliance for complex transactions and projects by involving all stakeholders;
- Perform compliance risk assessments, performance monitoring and reporting
- Perform investigations on corruption or trade controls allegations;
- Support internal control implementation and effectiveness matters regarding the compliance program;
Requirements
- CET -6, proficient in English writing and good command of speaking
- Self-starter / ability to work independently and teamwork spirit;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Integrity and accountability
Benefits
- Bachelor's degree in law in reputable law school
- Chinese bar qualification is a MUST
- 5 or more years' working experience in law firm or as inhouse legal & compliance in MNCs; from relevant industry preferred
- Governance, Risk & Compliance experience preferred
- Knowledge of compliance and governance risk management regulatory requirements and experience rolling out frameworks, policies and other elements that meet those requirements;
- Strong project management, slide creation, stakeholder collaboration, board presentation, and communication skills;
