We are looking for a Marketing and Communication Advisor - BeNeLux for our headquarters in Tilburg. The team consists of 4 people, focusing on internal (corporate) and external communication, digital marketing/campaign management, PR/Media, event management and graphic design. You will report to the Chief Commercial Officer BeNeLux.
DB Schenker is a globally operating logistics service provider. We are one of the market leaders in land transport, ocean freight and air freight, contract logistics and logistics for trade fairs and (sports) events.

Schenker Logistics BeNeLux is part of the Europe region. You will find our branches and logistics centres spread over Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.
Your function
- You are a sparring partner of the CCO for the marketing and communication policy and draw up the marketing and communication plan on this basis.
- You contribute to the development and execution of activities in the field of internal (corporate) and external communication, digital marketing/campaign management, PR/Media and Event Management.
- You will coordinate the centrally organised marketing activities and campaigns with the MarCom department Region Europe.
- Together with the MarCom team BeNeLux, you are responsible for advising, developing, implementing and coordinating local marketing campaigns and for measuring the effect of all campaigns.
- Besides marketing campaigns, you realise internal and external communications together with the team, such as press releases, mailings, newsletters, social media, websites and intranet.
- Together with the team, you organise events and support sales activities that are mainly focused on the acquisition of new customers. It goes without saying that these activities contribute to a consistent DB Schenker image in the BeNeLux cluster.
- You are both a creative thinker and a concrete doer.
- Together with your colleagues you organise efficient working methods and procedures and you evaluate the results.
Requirements
You
- Have completed a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Communications or an equivalent degree programme.
- Have a minimum of five years relevant work experience in a similar corporate position or within a MarCom agency
- Have analytical insight and up-to-date knowledge of trends and developments in the world of MarCom.
- Have expertise in the field of digital marketing and marketing automation.
- Are familiar with working in a corporate environment.
- Are used to working in a structured way.
- Are a professional and communicative sparring and discussion partner.
- Are proactive, action-oriented, enterprising, structured and innovative.
- Have a fluent command of the Dutch and English languages, French preferred.
- Feel at home in the dynamic world of transport and logistics.
