Your Tasks
* Managing general procurement processes for all kinds of products such as catering, office equipment, shuttle agreements, logistics supplies, office supplies.
* Supporting strategic sourcing initiatives and spot buys (including supplier negotiations) by providing input on spending specifics and category practices (including insights on markets) as well as gathering and clarifying internal customers' requirements.
* Managing demand and providing guidance on procurement processes and sourcing strategies.
* Participation in the implementation and optimization of processes and tools in procurement.
* Participating in international category management projects in the indirect procurement category.
* Identifying and realizing synergies and savings.
* Reviewing and approval of purchase requisitions in the area of responsibility.
* Providing quality and timeliness of services towards the stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree
- Min 5 years of experience in procurement
- Experienced in supplier management process
- Command of MS Office programs (SAP Ariba preferred)
- Good command of English
- Depth understanding of contract management (a strong ability to understand contractual terms and conditions specific to the procurement of goods, services and consultancies)
- Ability to build on existing policies and frameworks.
