Your Tasks
Job Overview
Responsible for managing the account relationships for the organization's large and medium customers not generally multinational. Ensure excellent customer service and communications are maintained to achieve sales and profit objectives.
What will you enjoy doing (duties/tasks)
- Manage account relationships for large and medium customers to ensure excellent customer service is provided
- Support annual sales and profit goals for large and medium customers
- Respond to logistical issues and questions; create innovative and profitable solutions
- Assist in product development efforts based on requirements of large and medium customers
- Determine rates and tariffs as well as establish and negotiate contracts
- Maintain relationships with other departments to ensure continual and consistent service is provided
- Strategically partner with other departments, including Sales, to ensure continual and consistent service is provided
- Partner with other sales professionals to orchestrate account sales strategy
Requirements
What you need to succeed (Qualifications, experience, skills, attributes)
- This is a sales management position.
- Exceptional interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills required. Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
- Generally prefer 3-5 years of related sales or management experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of domestic and international cargo operations required.
- Must demonstrate working knowledge of accounting, logistics, pricing, and informational technology.
