    Your Tasks

    Your tasks:
    • Work with Air and Ocean Freight Processes & Systems (P&S) teams to define and manage Air and Ocean Freight Master Data and Rate data objects under the guidance of Global head of MDM/RCM
    • Support the global head in administering Data Stewardship by respective Product Business Owners for in-scope Master Data objects
    • Support Air, Ocean, and IT in managing and executing master data migration and data cleansing initiatives
    • Support Rate management tickets including access rights, rate maintenance / TANGO rate retrieval and defect analysis
    • In alignment with Products steer the Air/Ocean P&S master data related activities at the regional level
    • Support the global MDM Air/Ocean Organization to achieve the completeness and quality of master data in our Transport Management system
    • Conduct and support trainings for MDM processes in alignment with the Products
    • Act as the business partner for the SSC teams tasked with the maintenance of Air/Ocean master data
    • Jointly with the SSC and in alignment with the Products, define and maintain processes and related documentation for MDM tasks handled by the SSC
    • Investigate and resolve master data issues and steer data clean-up activities
    • Establish and maintain reporting to monitor master data completeness, quality and utilization. Work with Products to increase master data quality and utilization
    • Review and validate master data related system change requests with IT Development Team's, shared service centers Business units. Review, validate to ensure that the underlying business requirements are met and dependencies are addressed
    • Collaborate with IT and Business stakeholders in the area of master data

    Requirements

    Your profile:
    • A finished studies in the area of logistics or several years of working experience in the ocean or airfreight forwarding business
    • Several years track record in a large Air and Ocean forwarding organizations with an emphasis on process and systems work related to Master data Management
    • Understanding of operational environments in global freight forwarding is a plus
    • Knowledge of a Transport Management system (e.g. TANGO) is a plus
    • Experience in managing cross-functional teams, virtual communities & key stakeholders
    • Strong analytical and attention to details
    • Fluency in written and spoken English
